Warning, lots of pictures!! We took over 300 pics on this trip... but don't worry, I didn't post ALL of them! ;)
Gavin and Great Grandpa Gary (and Turner)
Gavin loved playing with my mom's 2 dogs, Turner and Gus. He was completely fascinated by them and loved grabbing their tags. {and ears}
We met up with Tara, Travis, and Cyrus and got lost in a corn maze. For some reason, we didn't take a group shot, which I'm sad about. Davis and I were playing around while we were waiting for them and so I guess we just checked picture off.
Great Grandma Gardner taught us how to make chocolates. {nope, I didn't sample any. Good thing I don't like chocolate or I think I would have easily gained 2 pounds that day.} Don't be surprised if you get some chocolates for Christmas this year....
Rolling out the fondont.
Grandma and Grandpa Gardner.
Great Grandma Gardner crochets hats for Humanitarian Service and gave one to Gavin.
Grandpa Gardner
Gavin with the newly engaged Aunt Crystal.
Gavin with his soon-to-be uncle Keith.
Either Crystal is really short or Keith is really tall...oh wait... :)
Great Grandma Joy
Group shot with Great Grandma Joy
Great Grandma and Grandpa Brown
Great Grandpa and Grandma Richins
Scott, Ashley, and Paige. We were so excited to meet sweet little Paige. Ashley had her dressed up so cute.
Mom had a bowl of fresh plums from her tree and Gavin figured out where they were and loved biting into them and tearing them apart. I'm sure he went through at least a dozen plums.... which would explain all the poop he had while flying home....
Oma and Opa Richins
Gavin stayed on his Virginia schedule during the entire visit. So he was waking up at 4:30am Utah time and going to bed at 5:00pm. Then Davis and I were staying up late visiting with everyone and driving all over. So when my good friends, Amy and Jess stopped by to say hi, I felt like a zombie. AND I forgot to get a picture with them!! I was so mad when I realized this. Flying with a little one is SO exhausting and stressful. It took me a couple days to get my brain back. And it didn't help that Davis left for Norfolk for a rotation the morning after we got home.
I also wanted to document some battle wounds. Davis had these cancerous growths (not the bad kind...benign lipomas which means fat tumors) on his arms removed 2 days before we flew to Utah.
The doctor said they will most likely grow back.
And then I got a blood blister on my toe from running. So we felt like gimps while we were traveling.

Fun pictures! Only thing is that I really want to see how tall your future brother-in-law is compared to you cute little sister!
BTW, i would love chocolates for Christmas! Very thoughtful of you! LOL
I know I brought my camera too and even had it with us the whole time!! But it was really fun. :)
What a fun vacation. I bet grandma's and grandpa's loved to see their little grandson! And it's always fun to see old friends again! I will have to show you Mike's scar sometime. He had a fatty tumor on his arm that he got removed when we were at school. They did it at the student health center and had one of the students do it. It was his first time. Let's just say it looks like a Frankinstien scar! I'm glad you had fun in Utah and I bet Gavin loved all the attention!!!
Such fun pics! (except the blood blister one, that looks painful) I'm gla dyou had fun even if there was a lot of travel involved :)
The pics of me are when I was up at 5 in the morning before we went to ID! Yikes!! Cute pics of Gavin and everyone else--especially Keith:) We missss you guys already!!!
