snow and sunglasses

We got snowed in a few times in the past month. It was nice having Davis home for a few extra days. We had fun playing around and making Gavin a 'sled' out of a box. (the box is from costco...)

Gavin wasn't too impressed and lasted about 15 minutes being pulled around our cul-de-sac. We got a little cabin fever with all the snow, so any excuse to get outside was appreciated!

Gavin found a pair of my old sunglasses.

He loves putting the sunglasses on and then pulling them off and having us put them on and play peek a boo with him. silly boy. He plays peek a boo with everyone, including lots of strangers!

Gavin is so into everything! Way to busy. He's playing with my mp3 player that was supposed to be charging.... (and yes, it looks like he has something on his upper lip. a booger? who knows!)

I love these jeans I got for him at target on clearance. They are distressed and stylin for a little man. Plus they have an adjustable waist which is very important for our skinny little guy.

The other night, I found Davis reading to Gavin his bed time story like this. Both seemed to like it! I guess it's a guy thing.

Gavin had his 15 month appt on Friday. He's still in like the 15th percentile in weight and weighs a little over 21 pounds. He's about average height. I don't remember how tall he measured right now. Gavin also has acid reflux so now we're giving him Zantac twice a day. And his exema has been really bad with the cold dry weather. So we grease him up 1-2 times a day. Gavin smells very yummy usually!

Davis has had several more interviews. Such a long process, but we're so glad we started early because Davis is relaxed and confident in his interviews and feels he does well. We found out yesterday that he passed the two sections of boards he took on Saturday. It is a miracle he passed because he had some issues with his molar endo tooth. Fortunately the graders did not notice. phew!!

As for me, I'm still here. Opened up an etsy shop called the Tattered Flower to sell some of the things I make. In the first week, I have had 20+ orders. wow. I am amazed at the wonderful response I got. Quitting my job at the scrapbook store to focus on my blog and opening my own shop was an excellent decision.

My parents just got back from a long vacation in Thailand. Sounds like they had fun riding elephants and using stinky bathrooms! Can't wait to see the pics mom and dad :)

Well, hope everyone is doing well.

Fun times! You are so crafty...it is crazy to me, because I feel like when we were roomies I rarely saw this side of you, but I LOVE IT!! I was going to order the custom zipper daisy hairclip, but I want to order two of them, not just one (to save on shipping of course) haha and it said only one was available. What do you suggest I do? I was thinking black and maybe rasberry red, if you think that is cute....I just LOVE THAT hair clip, so I have to have it. :o)

Haa! Bryan has those same jammies that Gavin is wearing while readind with his daddy. Cute! I am sooooo sick of the snow here. I am so ready for summer! Cute pictures! Oh and Bryan still hasn't hit 20 lbs... So the adjustable waist is a must- or I alter the pants myself. Skinny skinny boys!

Your little guy is so cute! Can't believe how big he is getting! Don't you love adjustable waists! I have the problem with Joel being in like the 95% on height and 25% on weight so we understand the skinny waist because we have to go taller! Glad you found something to do during all those snowstorms! Good luck on your craft blog -- I love looking at it! Good luck with everything!

Gavin is so cute! Paige just went to her Dr's appointment and she is in the 20th percentile too... I guess they just grow at their own pace don't they? :) And congrats on your etsy site, that's great! Love all the updates!
