Utah Trip

I'm finally getting around to posting the pics from our Utah trip, Crystal's wedding, and Christmas. Yeah, it's going to be a long post.

Meet the new Mr. and Mrs. Stoddard.

 

 

 

I made the sign in book for their wedding gift.

 

Their gorgeous cake. I later used the pearls from the cake to make Crystal a necklace as a keepsake.

We got to meet my niece Kate for the first time. She sure is a cutie!

Gavin loved playing with Oma's Christmas tree.

 

Davis got a puzzle as a white elephant gift from my SIL Janeen. We had fun putting it together. It was one of those that when you look at it, the images jump out and look 3D, making it a fun challenge to put together.

 

Gavin loved playing with the ginormous ornaments that we used for Crystal's "chandelier" for her reception.

 

We got to see our good friends, Scott and Ashley and got to meet their sweet little girl Paige. I think Paige is the most photogenic baby ever. Always looks at the camera and smiles. It was snowing like crazy and 1 hour into the drive home, and we decided to turn around and stay the night at their house. The roads were terrible, we were driving 30mph, trucks and cars off the road all over and we couldn't see 5 feet in front of the car because of the high winds. Scott and Ashley were so nice to let us crash at their house. We had fun playing games with them and catching up with them. And trying to convince them to move to VA!

We spent a day with Grandpa and Grandma Gardner.

 

It's been really cold here in VA. Abnormally cold. And it snowed again today. ugh. Gavin and I still brave the cold and go running and for walks. Gavin loves going outside and looking for puppies. :) Gavin is really starting to walk now. He's gotten a lot braver. Which is good and bad. It means I really have to stay on top of him because he thinks he's better at walking than he is. It's so fun having him laughing and walk/running into my arms. I love that! Newest words are kitty, hot dog (ho do).
