Davis graduated Friday from Dental School! yay! I'm so proud of him! Davis's graduation was held at the new Center Stage theater in downtown Richmond. It was really nice.
I should have gotten closer so the pics wouldn't be so fuzzy, but I was taking care of Gavin and had my hands full. We'll have to get copies of Davis's dad's pics. He got up close and probably got better shots.
Congrats Dr. Gardner!! You made it!
Davis with his group leader, Dr. Imberry. Davis really enjoyed working with him in the clinic.
Davis and Audrey. I swear Davis would not have survived dental school without his good friend Audrey. Thanks Audrey!! We're going to miss you!
Gavin bored out of his mind at graduation. I love this pic! You can tell exactly what he thought of graduation! haha
Davis forgot to sign up for the free babysitting, so I got to chase him around during graduation. Which, I really didn't mind. Graduations can be long and boring. And after having little man, I don't think my attention span is much longer than his! lol So it was nice listening to the graduation in the foyer and going in to see Davis walk across the stage.
Gavin turned 18 months last week!!! We went to his 18mo check up and he's grown 2.5 inches in 3 months!! We knew he was getting taller, but I was still surprised at the huge growth spurt. So he's in the 80% percentile for height. But he's still a skinny dude. He weighed in the 10th percentile still for weight. I think he's got Davis's genes for sure in both those departments!
Gavin is getting quite the vocabulary and it's nice having him tell us what he wants. So much easier than guessing. Right now he's fascinated with ducks and fish. We walk down to Sunday park almost every day so he can see the ducks and fish in Swift Creek Reservoir. Which I will miss immensely whenever we move.
We're thinking of getting Gavin a pet fish when we move. I figure it's cheap and low maintenance vs. a cat or dog. Although Gavin would love nothing more than getting a puppy! Too bad mommy doesn't want to have to pick up the poop.

Amen on the poop sistah! ;) Congrats to you guys!!! I'm sure you are just jumping out of your skin excited! I'll admit I'm a little jealous :) You guys are amazing...we are so happy for ya!!
Congratulations!!!! I can't believe it DR. GARDNER.... wow, wow, wow. I bet it feels so good to be done. All that hard work finally pays off :) And I totally hear ya on the low percentile thing... Paige is still in the 8th percentile for height and weight. We are pretty sure that she gets the weight from Scott and the height from me (who would have guessed!) Poor thing...lucky to get Scott's weight genes though ;) Anyway, good luck on the house selling. I hope it goes fast so you guys don't have to do the commuting for too long.
PS. Gavin is just as adorable as ever! Miss you guys! And how's that little bun in the oven doin'?
Congratulations to both of you!! You made it! Woohoo!!
